New Chelsea manager orders the purchase of Manchester United star summer target

Former Juventus manager Antonio Conte has been confirmed as the one to lead the Blues next season.

According to a report in the Daily Star, the Italian has ordered Chelsea to resign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

The 22 year old is a reported Manchester United target, with the possibility of the Belgian joining United likely to increase if José Mourinho is confirmed as the next United manager.

The new Blues boss is ready to test Everton's resolve to keep the player by offering a £50m buy back fee, which is almost double the amount Everton played for the striker few seasons ago.

The Italian wanted to sign Lukaku while as Juventus manager but the Italian Champions ended up signing Alvaro Morata.

The new Chelsea manager reportedly wants the deal wrapped up before the start of the European Championship in June.
