Manchester United's revelation of the season Jesse Lingard and his agent are in discussions with the club over a new deal.
The new deal will see the player earn twice what he currently earns.
Lingard has had an impressive season so far, providing an important assist for Wayne Rooney in the Champions league against CSKA Moscow and followed it up by scoring the opening goal in the Premier League game against West Brom.
The 22 year old recently earned his first national call to the English team, and his form has been keeping Dutchman Depay out of the team.
His new deal is reportedly close to £50,000 as the player currently earns an incentive based £25,000-a-week. And things could be wrapped up by December.
