Van Gaal explain awkward way United fans were entertained against Everton

The United manager said he and his team wanted to entertain the United fans, but he admitted that it didn't happen against Everton.

He however believed that the tension that came with the game was what entertained fans.

United struggled to a 1-0 victory, having no shot on target in the first half and managing two throughout the game.

"We want to give entertainment for the fans, but the fans were entertained today because of the tension." He said after the game.
