Ian Wright tells Van Gaal to sell this United duo

The Arsenal legend has advised Manchester United manager Van Gaal to sell the defensive duo of Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian. While advising the Dutchman to concentrate on developing academy products like Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson instead.

The wing backs are signings of Van Gaal and have both struggled in their ways.

“The players have to take some form of credit for their recent turnaround."
The Legendary striker  told The Sun.

“I would say players like Darmian and Rojo need to get out.

“I would play Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson - Fosu-Mensah on right and Borthwick-Jackson on the left and Shaw is to come back.'' He added.

Rojo was substituted at half thine in the 1-0 win over Everton, with Van Gaal blaming jet lag for the player's below par showing.

His replacement Fosu-Mensah was the life United needed to get something out of the game, as he provided the assist to Martial's only goal.

This comes after the player was caught on camera smoking in Argentina during the international break.

The Argentine has also stated his desire to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires.

Darmian joined United last summer from Torino for a fee around £12.7m ad had a bright start to his United career, but injuries and squad rotation have not helped the Italian.
