Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata has provided an impressive update on the return o the United left back.
Shaw has been out since September 2015, when he suffered a double fracture in the Champions League match with PSV.
Van Gaal had earlier provided an update that Shaw would return to work with the United medical team though he didn't put a specific date to his return.
Mata has already provided an update that Shaw is now running which is a major step in his recovery process.
He posted this on his instagram page earlier today:
