One team, a two legged tie stands between Manchester United
and the promise land of European football next season. Manchester United will
need to knock out one of ten teams in the Champions league play offs.
United
will join in the final round of the qualifiers could face Italian side Lazio,
French side As Monaco – a possibility of Falcao playing against his former
side, Russia’s CSKA Moscow are some of the teams United could face.
For the final qualifying round, United are the top seeded
club, and will be joined by Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen, and as such any of the
three teams can’t face each other.
Ajax and Shakhtar Donetsk will also l be seeded in the draws
and therefore cannot face United.
The draw for the final qualifying round (stage at which
united will join) is on the 7 August, with the ties played on the 18/19 August
and 25/26 August respectively
