Manchester United are set to offer Ashley Young a new 3 year deal. The winger is arguably united most improved player under new manager Van Gaal. Young 29, was close to the exit before the start of last season, but has turned things round for himself. The Englishman’s ability to play on the wing and also in the defence has been of immense help to united in Van Gaal’s first season, and Van Gaal is ready to have him in his plans for the future.

The winger got himself some goals including
an important last minute winner against Newcastle. He was nominated on a number
of occasions for the club’s player of the month award, an award he won for the
month of May - the last month of the season.
