Extract from Louis Van Gaal’s press conference: Falcao could start against Villa while Angel Di Maria could be on the bench.

Louis Van Gaal just had his press conference some hours ago, in respect to the game against Aston Villla on Saturday. And he gave some insights into the current injury situation, and most importantly what his line up could look like in the game against Villa.
Redly United brings you some important statements from the Dutch Master Louis Van Gaal.
[LVG on Falcao] "He shows fitness, so maybe I shall select him for the bench or maybe I shall select him for the line-up. Wait and see."
[LVG on Di Maria] "He has trained this week with us but he’s not match-fit after one week. Maybe I shall select him for the bench."
[LVG on the current injuries his players]"We have 5 injured players and 1 sick player."   "Fellaini is ill."
[LVG on confidence gained from win over Liverpool] "I don't think that one game has had that big an influence. The results have been good." [LVG on Rooney playing Central Midfield]  "It's dependable on how the balance in the team is. I am looking for that."
[LVG] "I like multi-functional players; I normally buy more of them than specialists."
[LVG on Vlaar] "He was the most important defender for Holland, he is always stable which is important. I was very happy with him."
[LVG on results] "For me, the performance is very important. When you perform well, you win more and that’s what I want to show to the fans"
[LVG] "For example, the match against Hull was a great game. I want to see games like that. We dominated for 90 minutes. We need more that."
[LVG] "I have to admit the atmosphere in the group is fantastic and we've got a lot of confidence now."

Summarily Falcao should get some minutes or start in the game, while the best the fans can see from Di Maria would  be a substitute appearance. Fellaini could miss the game, which in turn could make Ander Herrera start the game.
Louis Van Gaal also rates Vlaar high, with rumours linking Manchester united to the Villa defender.
