Andy Gray |
With four wins on a bounce, which happens to be the longest
winning streak for United this season
and year, United fans and players are riding high in confidence. After what
looks like a awful start to the season, under the legendary Dutch gaffer Luis Van Gaal,
the team seem to have gotten its rhythm and are fourth in the premier league.
But Scottish legend Andrew Gray has a different view about
Manchester United’s form. Speaking on
Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast he said: ‘‘Although they have four wins in a row,
three of them were against Crystal Palace, Hull and Stoke, and you expect a decent
United side to win those three games.
The only team of any note they have beaten was Arsenal and
there were second best for massive spells. They are far from back Manchester United
and I think it is a game Southampton will fancy.’ ’
Off course United’s next two games against Southampton and
Liverpool are potential banana peels, and will show if the team is back.
