The attacking midfielder has set the perfect tone for United's visit to Upton Park on Tuesday to play the Hammers.
United ran our 1-0 winners at Carrow Road over Norwich on Saturday and were massively helped by the Gunners who held City to a 2-2 draw on Sunday, putting United's top four fate in their own hands.
United must now win their remaining two games, to stand a perfect chance if making the top four, and Mata believes the time for jubilation is not now.
On his weekly Monday blog, he wrote:
" There is no time for celebrations though, since we have another game on Tuesday as difficult as the one on Saturday, or even more. It's against West Ham, our last away game of the Premiership.
"It's going to be special: the last official game at the Boleyn Ground, where West Ham has been playing for 112 years. With that image of Sir Bobby Moore, it's a place that breathes English football...
"it will be an honour to be there and try to get the last win. West Ham, has been a tough opponent this season. We know them well because we've played against them in the FA Cup too. They are in the seventh position by a combination of effort and talent, not by chance."
Points well outlined by Mata, United have not had it easy against West Ham this season, with pride and a place in the Europa League at stake, the Hammers will give United a tough match.
Van Gaal and his team know what is at stake. This is probably United's most important match this season.
A place in the top four and ultimately in Champions League next season will be dangling on Tuesday night.
The stage is perfectly set for fans to see the best or worse of Manchester United.
