Former United captain Roy Keane says he is disappointed with Manchester United's performance in the draw with Leicester.
United had all to play for, with the top four at stake, but find it difficult breaking down a compact Leicester defence.
United also couldn't cope with Leicester's pace at set pieces, and allowed the Foxes back into the game, minutes after Martial had given United the lead.
"I was disappointed with today because I think their form has been pretty good over the last three or four weeks, they had a massive win in the Cup semi-final to score late on." Keane said via independent.
The tenacious former United star felt United lacked real quality in the second half, while he also believed the fans were flat after the game.
"Today I was expecting a bit more, they are still trying to fight for fourth, not that that is anything to be celebrated, but I think United fans will be a bit flat after that performance when there is something to play for and there was no real quality in the second half.
"Even the urgency in the second half. I was expecting an onslaught in the last 15 minutes, throw everything at Leicester but as the game went on I felt if anybody was going to score it was going to be Leicester.
"I am trying to stay positive but it is difficult."
You have to agree with Roy on this.
United lacked the tenacity, extreme desire and courage against the Foxes.
With City later losing in the day, United could have the fourth spot in their grip by now.
But complacency from the manager who was satisfied with the draw, and the players on the pitch means United might have thrown their best opportunity to crawl into the top four away.
