According to French newspaper Le Parisien, PSG have expressed interest in the player. With their assistant sporting director Olivier Letang, meeting with Kante’s representatives twice over the last few weeks.

According to the report the player has a €25m release clause in his contract, which would not be a barrier for any of his current suitors.

Kante currently earns €32,000 a week and a move to any of these clubs will multiply his take home pay by three or more.

The player however prefers to remain in his England, and this has promoted the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City to develop interest in the player.

With the current state of things in the United midfield, a player like Kante would be very useful for United.

The duo of Carrick and Schweinsteiger are approaching the twilight of their career. And Fellaini is not that top notch dependable midfielder, leaving United with only Schneiderlin as the only first choice.
