Striker confirms he wants to join and play for Man United next season

Manchester United striker James Wilson who is currently on loan at Brighton is eager to return to United and show what he can do through the experience he's had at Brighton.

Brighton play Middlesbrough this weekend and a win will secure them promotion into the Premier League.

The 20 year old scored an important 95th minute equalizer in their 1-1 draw with Derby on Monday to extend their unbeaten run to thirteen games.

“The whole point of this loan move is to gain valuable experience.

"I think I’ve done that." He told the Mirror

“My full focus is on Brighton for the rest of the season. But  I’ve got to go back(to United) and show what I can do for the next season.''

The striker joined Brighton in November, and has scored five goals in 24 appearances.

He is still in touch with his colleagues at Old Trafford and wishes them well in their FA Cup winning quest.

"We’re all in a group chat with the United players and we’re all willing each other on to do certain things either individually or as a team.

"I wish them all the best for the FA Cup. It’s the best of both worlds."
