Manchester United agents were both in Portugal and Germany over the weekend having a close look at Sporting Lisbon's Joao Mario and Schalke winger Leroy Sane respectively.
The young duo are highly rated and have attracted interest from a host of top European sides.
United have been scouting Joao Mario, 23 since January. News of his move to United have intensified after United lost Benfica's Renato Sanches to Bayern Munich.
PSG have also been linked with the Portuguese international, and have reportedly had a £27.5m bid rejected for the player.
Schalke winger Leroy Sane, was also spied on by United scouts. He scored his ninth goal of this season against Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Barcelona and Manchester City have also been registered their interest in the 20 year old, though it appears the German club will want to keep the player for one more season.
United will need up to bids in the region of £40m to lure either of the players from their clubs.
