Martin Keown analyses United's chance of making the top four

The former Arsenal star believes results this week will play a vital role in determining if United will make the top four or not.

United defeated Norwich at Carrow Road 1-0 to keep up the pressure on City.

United travel to London to play West Ham at Upton Park on Tuesday in what the Hammers last game on the ground before moving to their new Olympic stadium.

"This weekend will be key. If City beat Arsenal then I feel it will be too much for United to do. But if City lose and United beat Norwich, they have a chance." He told Daily Mail.

The former England defender however thinks United's game with West Ham could be the end of United's top four hopes.

"They have a game in hand but it’s against West Ham in their last ever match at Upton Park.

"If you look at the emotion stirred at Stamford Bridge on Monday then saying goodbye to Upton Park is going to be just as emotional.

"There will be generations of fans there who have enjoyed the Upton Park experience and it will be the last time to capture that.

"It’s a ground that has thrived on its reputation to reach fever pitch so they will give it a great send off, especially given the calibre of the opponent.

"I think that match could well spell the end of United’s chase for the top four."
