Former Chelsea attacking midfielder Joe Cole has told Man United that Mourinho is a manager that guarantees trophies in this modern day.
The Portuguese is the fans favorite to replace Van Gaal as manager, but from the look of things, United may be leaving the Dutchman for another season in charge.
Joe Cole who was a part of the highly successful Mourinho's first Chelsea side told Talksports:
“He’s a top boss. I still think he’s the best I worked under."
"They’ll be getting a really top manager, who more-or-less in this modern day guarantees trophies."
It remains to be seen if United will stick with Van Gaal or go for José.
